Terms of Service

“GOShvite”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means the platform operated by GOSHCo. “You” means the person who creates an account or pays for a published invitation. Where these terms say “the Services” we mean every part of GOShvite — the invitation builder, the published invitation pages we host for you, RSVP tools, and any companion features.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account or using any part of the Services, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure. We cannot recover work lost because someone else accessed your account.
• We will never email you asking for your password. If anyone does, it is not us.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period. We will always explain why and give you a chance to fix it where the issue is fixable.

You can use GOShvite to create and publish wedding, engagement, anniversary, birthday, and similar private celebration invitations. You can collect RSVPs from guests, share photos, and link to gift registries or related event resources.

You agree not to upload, publish, or share content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or obscene
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Facilitates illegal transactions or unsolicited communications
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

Free accounts can build and save drafts, but drafts are not visible to guests. To make an invitation public, you must complete payment through Razorpay. Once payment is confirmed, your invitation is marked published and made accessible via your unique link.

• Drafts not opened for 30 days may be cleaned up to free the URL for other users.
• Paid invitations remain live for the duration of the plan purchased.

Certain features of the Services require payment. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is required before your invitation can be published and made visible to guests.
• We do not store your card number, UPI VPA, or banking credentials — Razorpay handles and secures all payment information.
• In the event of a failed transaction, you may attempt payment again or contact us for assistance.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create through the Services — your invitation text, photos, event details, guest list, and RSVP data. By uploading content, you grant GOShvite a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and deliver your content solely to provide the Services. This content and media may be hosted, processed, and stored using trusted third-party infrastructure providers (specifically Google Firebase/Firestore and Cloudinary). That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not sell, share, or use your content, uploaded photos, RSVP information, or any customer data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. See our Privacy Policy for the full data story.

The GOShvite name, logo, templates, platform code, and visual design are the intellectual property of GOSHCo and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may use templates as part of your invitation site — that is the point — but you may not copy, extract, or republish them as your own product or service without our prior written consent.

When you use GOShvite to collect RSVPs, you are the data controller for your guests' personal information. You agree to:

• Collect only information necessary for your event
• Use guest data solely for purposes related to your event
• Not use guest data for unsolicited marketing or commercial purposes
• Comply with applicable data protection laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)

We aim for high availability. No service is perfect, but we try hard not to break the day before your wedding. If we go down, we will work to fix it as fast as we can and communicate honestly while we do.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, access controls, and regular security updates to protect your information.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We cannot guarantee that every guest's email provider will deliver RSVP notifications, or that every browser will render our templates perfectly.

If something important breaks for your event, contact us — we will make it right when we can.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to GOShvite in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can delete your account at any time through your account settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms — we will always explain why and give you a chance to fix it where the issue is fixable.

Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

If we change these Terms in a way that affects you, we will email anyone with an active account and post a notice on the site at least 14 days before the new version takes effect. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account before they take effect. We will refund any unused paid time on a pro-rata basis in that case.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email goes to the courts having jurisdiction over the city where GOSHCo is registered.
