Refund & Cancellation Policy

    GOShvite plans are one-time payments for a published invitation. Here's exactly when refunds are available and how to ask for one. If you have any questions before purchasing, email us at hello@goshco.in.

    The Short Version

    Full refund within 7 days of payment if your invitation has never been viewed by guests.

    Refund considered if our platform caused the issue — for example, the service was significantly unavailable on or near your event date.

    Refund for failed or duplicate payments — if your account was debited but access was not granted.

    No refund after 7 days once guests have accessed the invitation, except in cases of platform failure or payment error.

    1. Nature of Service

    GOShvite provides a digital service — an online platform to create, customise, and publish invitation websites. When you complete a payment, access to the publishing feature is granted immediately and electronically.

    Because our Services are delivered digitally and access is provided at the moment of purchase, payments are generally non-refundable once guests have accessed your invitation — with the specific exceptions listed below.

    2. What You Can Refund

    Full Refund — Within 7 Days

    If you purchased a plan and changed your mind within 7 days, and your invitation has not yet been viewed by any guests, you can request a full refund. We will refund the entire payment to your original payment method via Razorpay.

    Service-Failure Refund

    If our service was substantially unavailable on or near your event date — meaning your guests could not load your invitation when they needed to — email us and we will work it out. Depending on the impact, we will refund part or all of what you paid for that plan period.

    Failed or Duplicate Payments

    If your payment was deducted but your invitation was not published, or you were charged more than once for the same order, please contact us immediately. We will verify the transaction and, if confirmed, process a full refund to your original payment method.

    In cases where Razorpay initiates an automatic refund for a failed transaction, the refund timeline is governed by Razorpay and your bank's processing time, typically 5–7 business days.

    3. What You Cannot Refund

    • Plans where the invitation has already been viewed by guests and more than 7 days have passed since payment.
    • Change of mind after the invitation has been live and accessible to guests.
    • Dissatisfaction with a template or design choice — we encourage you to preview templates before purchasing.
    • Any payment where you initiated a chargeback with your bank before contacting us. Please let us help you first — chargebacks take longer than refunds and may result in suspension of your GOShvite account pending resolution.
    • Issues that are fixable through support — a broken layout, a feature question, a template problem. Contact us first; refunds are not a substitute for support.

    4. How to Request a Refund

    Email us at hello@goshco.in with the subject line “Refund Request” and include:

    1. The email address on your GOShvite account.
    2. Your Razorpay transaction ID from your receipt email — it looks like pay_…
    3. A brief description of why you are requesting a refund.

    We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and notify you of the outcome.

    5. How Long the Refund Takes

    Once we approve a refund, we issue it through Razorpay immediately. Razorpay then takes 5–7 business days to credit your card, UPI, or bank account, depending on which payment method you used. Card refunds are usually fastest; net banking can be slower.

    6. Cancellations

    GOShvite does not operate on a subscription model. There are no recurring charges or automatic renewals. Each payment is a one-time charge for a specific feature or service — nothing happens to your bank account automatically.

    You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Deleting your account will remove your invitation content and personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Deletion of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any prior payments made, unless you qualify under the conditions in Section 2.

    7. Disputes

    If you believe an unauthorised charge was made to your account, please contact us at hello@goshco.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will cooperate fully to investigate and resolve it quickly.

    If we cannot agree on a refund and you are in India, the matter falls under the consumer-protection mechanisms of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. We would much rather resolve things directly over email — disputes over a small plan payment are not worth either of our time in court.

    8. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy before making a purchase.
